Russell Tovey and Steve Brockman have apparently called it quits.

On Sunday, June 17, 2018, the Quantico star confirmed his split from his rugby pro fiancé while replying to a fan's question on Instagram.

In the comments section of a snapshot the actor had posted of himself working out in a hotel gym, the follower in question had asked, "@Russelltovey are you still with @Steve_The_Brockman?" In response, Tovey simply wrote, "No darling."

According to E! News, he gave the same reply after another fan wondered whether there was a new romance brewing between himself and Andy Cohen of Watch What Happens Live.

The Looking alum also appears to have deleted any pics of the former couple together from his social media accounts, the Daily Mail noted. Meanwhile, Brockman hasn't shared anything on Instagram since mid-March. At the time of this writing, the pro athlete has yet to publicly comment on the pair's relationship status.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Tovey, 36, announced his engagement to Brockman in February 2018. While speaking with the Daily Mail at the time, he called his ex's proposal "completely unexpected." However, the Being Human alum added that he was "very very happy and looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London."

During an interview with the London Evening Standard in November 2016, Tovey first opened up about his hopes to one day get married and have kids. "Totally, 100 per cent I will do it, when the time is right," he said, adding, "But I've got my dog at the minute — he's my everything, my sun and my moon and my mate."
